The Lumpkin County Indians basketball team scored 75 points and held the host Gilmer Bobcats to 23 in the Indians league triumph on Friday.

The Indians now sport a 18-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pickens for a AAA Region 7 contest on Tuesday, January 31. Lumpkin County will meet a Dragons team coming off a 63-36 non-league win over East Jackson (Commerce, GA). The Dragons record now stands at 17-4.

The Bobcats (3-17) will now prepare for their contest against Southeast Whitfield County (Dalton, GA). The Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 3-14 record. In their last contest, Southeast Whitfield County was routed by Northwest Whitfield (Tunnel Hill, GA), 66-26, in a league contest.
