The Lumpkin County Indians basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting Gilmer Bobcats to 28 in the Indians league triumph on Tuesday.

The Indians now sport a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pickens for a AAA Region 7 contest on Friday, December 16. Lumpkin County will battle a Dragons team coming off a 62-46 league win over Dawson County (Dawsonville, GA). The Dragons record now stands at 9-0.

The Bobcats (1-9) will now prepare for their contest against White County (Cleveland, GA). The Warriors enter the AAA Region 7 contest with a 10-1 record. In their last contest, White County triumphed over West Hall (Oakwood, GA), 80-9, in a league contest.
