January 27, 2023: Moriarty, NM 87035 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Moriarty Pintos (Moriarty, NM) and the visiting Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes (Pojoaque, NM), saw Moriarty's basketball squad overcome Pojoaque Valley by a tally of 37-19.
With the victory, Moriarty improves its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Pintos host Robertson (Las Vegas, NM) to confront the Cardinals in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 2. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 12-0. Robertson won 38-15 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Michael's (Santa Fe, NM)
Next up, the Elks/Elkettes confront the Los Alamos Hilltoppers (Los Alamos, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 2. Pojoaque Valley will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Hilltoppers come into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 48-34 non-league loss to Rio Rancho (Rio Rancho, NM).
