New Mexico High School Basketball - Pojoaque Valley thwarts Los Alamos
February 2, 2023: Pojoaque, NM 87506 The Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes (Pojoaque, NM) basketball knocked off the visiting Los Alamos Hilltoppers (Los Alamos, NM), 31-21 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Elks/Elkettes (3-5) will now prepare for their test against Espanola Valley (Espanola, NM). The Sundevils go into the non-league test with a 7-3 record. In their last test, Espanola Valley notched a victory over Taos (Taos, NM), 43-22, in a non-league test.
The Hilltoppers now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Moriarty for a non-league test on Saturday, February 4. Los Alamos will encounter a Pintos squad coming off a 33-20 non-league loss to Robertson (Las Vegas, NM). The Pintos record now stands at 6-4.
