Oologah Mustangs (Oologah, OK) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Caney Valley Trojans (Ramona, OK), 61-52 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Oologah upgrades its record to 11-6 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Miami (Miami, OK) to face the Wardogs in a Verdigris Valley game on Tuesday, January 30. The Wardogs enter the game with a record of 5-9. Miami lost 61-28 in their recent league game against Verdigris (Claremore, OK)

With the defeat, Caney Valley moves to 8-6 on the year. The Trojans host Oklahoma Union (South Coffeyville, OK) to face the Cougars in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 30.
