Indiana High School Basketball - Cascade fells Speedway
January 27, 2024: Clayton, IN 46118 Cascade Cadets (Clayton, IN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Speedway Sparkplugs (Speedway, IN), 62-48 in a league bout.
With the win, Cascade upgrades its record to 8-6 on the season. The Cadets host Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter (Indianapolis, IN) to clash with the Raiders in a Indiana Crossroads bout on Thursday, February 1. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 5-11. Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter won 59-40 in their recent non-league bout against Greenwood Christian Academy (Greenwood, IN)
Next up, the Sparkplugs clash with the Martinsville Artesians (Martinsville, IN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 1. Speedway will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record. The Artesians go into the bout with a 3-12 record after their 83-50 league loss to Franklin Community (Franklin, IN).
