Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Malcolm Clippers (Malcolm, NE) and the host Platteview Trojans (Springfield, NE), saw Malcolm's basketball squad hold off Platteview by a tally of 46-42.

With the victory, Malcolm improves its record to 12-5 on the campaign. The Clippers travel to Scotus (Columbus, NE) to confront the Shamrocks in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Shamrocks come into the challenge with a record of 6-9. Scotus lost 62-56 in their recent non-league challenge against Lincoln Christian (Lincoln, NE)
