Ohio High School Basketball - Paulding tops Montpelier
January 27, 2024: Paulding, OH 45879 Paulding Panthers (Paulding, OH) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Montpelier Locomotives (Montpelier, OH), 61-47 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Paulding upgrades its record to 8-5 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Fairview (Sherwood, OH) to play the Apaches in a Green Meadows bout on Friday, February 2. The Apaches come into the bout with a record of 6-8. Fairview lost 55-46 in their recent non-league bout against Evergreen (Metamora, OH)
Next up, the Locomotives play the Pettisville Blackbirds (Pettisville, OH) in a Buckeye Border bout, on Friday, February 2. Montpelier will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record. The Blackbirds come into the bout with a 9-6 record after their 51-49 non-league loss to Liberty Center (Liberty Center, OH).
