Mississippi High School Basketball - Ridgeland fells Columbus

Ridgeland Titans (Ridgeland, MS) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Columbus Falcons (Columbus, MS), 54-39 in a league bout.

With the win, Ridgeland upgrades its record to 13-10 on the season. The Titans host Vicksburg (Vicksburg, MS) to clash with the Gators in a 6A Region 2 bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Gators go into the bout with a record of 8-17. Vicksburg lost 81-44 in their recent league bout against Neshoba Central (Philadelphia, MS)

Next up, the Falcons clash with the Warren Central Vikings (Vicksburg, MS) in a 6A Region 2 bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Columbus will attempt to upgrade on its 2-18 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 0-26 record after their 59-15 league loss to Ridgeland (Ridgeland, MS).
