Nebraska High School Basketball - Lakeview crushes Lexington
January 27, 2024: Lexington, NE 68850 Lakeview Vikings (Columbus, NE) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, NE), 40-12 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Lakeview upgrades its record to 6-9 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Aquinas (David City, NE) to play the Monarchs in a non-league bout on Monday, January 29. The Monarchs come into the bout with a record of 7-10. Aquinas won 71-33 in their recent non-league bout against Concordia (Omaha, NE)
Next up, the Minutemen play the Broken Bow Indians (Broken Bow, NE) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Lexington will attempt to upgrade on its 1-14 season record. The Indians come into the bout with a 13-3 record after their 51-45 non-league loss to Gothenburg (Gothenburg, NE).
