The Mt. Markham Mustangs basketball squad (West Winfield, NY), lost 66-56 in Monday's league battle with the host Utica Academy of Science Atoms (Utica, NY)

With the victory, Utica Academy of Science advances its record to 8-5 on the year. The Atoms host Clinton (Clinton, NY) to meet the Comets in a non-league battle on Thursday, January 30. The Comets enter the battle with a record of 3-11. Clinton won 61-56 in their recent non-league battle against Sherburne-Earlville (Sherburne, NY)

The Mustangs now own a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Little Falls for a Section 3 Center State II battle on Monday, February 3.
