New York High School Basketball - Utica Academy of Science overwhelms Clinton

The Utica Academy of Science Atoms basketball team scored 61 points and limited the host Clinton Comets to 40 in the Atoms league triumph on Tuesday.

The Atoms now have a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Sherburne-Earlville for a Section 3 Center State III game on Friday, December 20. Utica Academy of Science will confront a Marauders team coming off a 58-38 non-league win over Canastota (Canastota, NY). The Marauders record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, Clinton falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Comets host Herkimer (Herkimer, NY) to confront the Magicians in a non-league game on Friday, December 20. The Magicians go into the game with a record of 1-3. Herkimer won 75-67 in their recent league game against Mt. Markham (West Winfield, NY)
