Minnesota High School Basketball - Bigfork nips Floodwood
January 27, 2025: Bigfork, MN 56628 In Monday's league contest, the host Bigfork Huskies basketball team scored a close 67-61 triumph over the Floodwood Polar Bears.
The Huskies (12-5) will now prepare for their contest against Littlefork-Big Falls (Littlefork, MN). The Vikings go into the A Section 7 contest with a 10-10 record. In their last contest, Littlefork-Big Falls nipped Greenway (Coleraine, MN), 65-57, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Polar Bears battle the Deer River Warriors (Deer River, MN) in a A Section 7 contest, on Tuesday, January 28. Floodwood will attempt to better on its 13-4 season record. The Warriors go into the contest with a 13-8 record after their 90-37 league loss to Mountain Iron-Buhl (Mountain Iron, MN).
