The New Britain Golden Hurricanes (New Britain, CT) basketball nipped the visiting Glastonbury Tomahawks (Glastonbury, CT), 45-43 in Friday's non-league test.

The Golden Hurricanes (6-9) will now prepare for their test against Bloomfield (Bloomfield, CT). The Warhawks go into the non-league test with a 10-0 record. In their last test, Bloomfield got by Plainville (Plainville, CT), 93-66, in a non-league test.

The Tomahawks now own a 3-10 record. They play next when they travel to Avon for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 1. Glastonbury will encounter a Falcons squad coming off a 59-32 league loss to Conard (West Hartford, CT). The Falcons record now stands at 8-5.
