Louisiana High School Basketball - Amite nipped by Southside
January 28, 2023: Youngsville, LA The Southside Sharks tipped the visiting Amite Warriors basketball team by a final score of 54-51 in Saturday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Sharks face the New Iberia Yellowjackets (New Iberia, LA) in a 5A District 3 game, on Friday, February 10. Southside will attempt to move on its 10-7 season record.
With the defeat, Amite moves to 6-11 on the year. The Warriors travel to Albany (Albany, LA) to face the Hornets in a 3A District 7 game on Tuesday, January 31. The Hornets enter the game with a record of 1-14.
