In Saturday's non-league outing, the Maury Commodores (Norfolk, VA) basketball squad beat the host Northampton Yellowjackets (Eastville, VA), by a margin of 60-45.

The Commodores (9-3) will now prepare for their outing against Manor (Portsmouth, VA). The Mustangs go into the Eastern outing with a 9-9 record. In their last outing, Manor was topped by Heritage (Newport News, VA), 86-53, in a non-league outing.
