Nevada High School Basketball - Pershing County overwhelms North Tahoe
January 28, 2023: Lovelock, NV 89419 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Pershing County Mustangs (Lovelock, NV) and the visiting North Tahoe Lakers (Tahoe City, CA), saw Pershing County's basketball squad wallop North Tahoe by a tally of 58-16.
With the victory, Pershing County improves its record to 12-2 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Yerington (Yerington, NV) to confront the Lions in a challenge on Friday, February 3. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 1-7. Yerington won 56-45 in their recent league challenge against Battle Mountain (Battle Mountain, NV)
Next up, the Lakers confront the Battle Mountain Longhorns (Battle Mountain, NV) in a challenge, on Friday, February 3. North Tahoe will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Longhorns come into the challenge with a 6-8 record after their 56-45 league loss to Yerington (Yerington, NV).
