Georgia High School Basketball - Allatoona bests Hiram
January 28, 2025: Acworth, GA 30101 The Allatoona Buccaneers (Acworth, GA) basketball toppled the visiting Hiram Hornets (Hiram, GA), 74-62 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Buccaneers now possess a 17-5 record. They play next when they travel to Cass for a AAAA Region 7 bout on Friday, January 31. Allatoona will play a Colonels team coming off a 46-42 league loss to Dalton (Dalton, GA). The Colonels record now stands at 9-13.
With the loss, Hiram falls to 8-13 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Cedartown (Cedartown, GA) to play the Bulldogs in a AAAA Region 7 bout on Wednesday, January 29. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 12-10. Cedartown won 64-50 in their recent league bout against Woodland (Cartersville, GA)
