Georgia High School Basketball - Dalton holds off Hiram
January 31, 2025: Dalton, GA 30720 The Dalton Catamounts basketball team scored 49 points and limited the visiting Hiram Hornets to 43 in the Catamounts non-league triumph on Friday.
The Catamounts now have a 14-9 record. They play next when they travel to Calhoun for a non-league game on Saturday, February 1. Dalton will confront a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 71-48 league win over Heritage (Ringgold, GA). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 12-3.
With the loss, Hiram falls to 9-14 on the campaign. The Hornets host Cass (White, GA) to confront the Colonels in a AAAA Region 7 game on Tuesday, February 4. The Colonels go into the game with a record of 9-14. Cass lost 58-38 in their recent league game against Allatoona (Acworth, GA)
