January 28, 2025: Edison, GA 39846 The Calhoun County Cougars (Edison, GA) basketball crushed the visiting Miller County Pirates (Colquitt, GA), 79-32 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Cougars now possess a 17-1 record. They play next when they travel to Terrell County for a A D2 Region 1 bout on Friday, January 31. Calhoun County will play a Greenwave team coming off a 70-32 league win over Pataula Charter Academy (Edison, GA). The Greenwave record now stands at 9-10.
With the loss, Miller County falls to 3-12 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Quitman County (Georgetown, GA) to play the Hornets in a A D2 Region 1 bout on Friday, January 31.
