Portage Mustangs (Portage, PA) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Conemaugh Township Indians (Davidsville, PA), 44-40 in a league match.

With the victory, Portage advances its record to 14-5 on the year. The Mustangs host Cambria Heights (Patton, PA) to face the Highlanders in a Heritage match on Thursday, January 30. The Highlanders enter the match with a record of 4-15. Cambria Heights lost 63-39 in their recent league match against Northern Cambria (Northern Cambria, PA)

The Indians now own a 14-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to United for a Heritage match on Thursday, January 30. Conemaugh Township will face a Lions squad coming off a 71-46 league win over Conemaugh Valley (Johnstown, PA). The Lions record now stands at 13-6.
