Portage Mustangs (Portage, PA) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Marion Center Stingers (Marion Center, PA), 70-54 in a league match.

With the victory, Portage upgrades its record to 2-1 on the year. The Mustangs host Conemaugh Valley (Johnstown, PA) to face the Blue Jays in a Heritage match on Friday, December 13. The Blue Jays enter the match with a record of 3-2. Conemaugh Valley lost 52-46 in their recent league match against West Shamokin (Rural Valley, PA)
