The River Valley Panthers basketball team scored 59 points and limited the host Marion Center Stingers to 53 in the Panthers league triumph on Thursday.

The Panthers now have a 7-4 record. They play next when they host West Shamokin for a Heritage game on Monday, January 6. River Valley will confront a Wolves team coming off a 51-45 league win over Penns Manor (Clymer, PA). The Wolves record now stands at 9-2.

With the loss, Marion Center drops to 3-7 on the year. The Stingers travel to Homer-Center (Homer City, PA) to clash with the Wildcats in a Heritage outing on Monday, January 6.
