The Marion Center Stingers basketball team scored 71 points and limited the host River Valley Panthers to 61 in the Stingers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Stingers now possess a 7-11 record. They play next when they host Homer-Center for a Heritage game on Thursday, January 30. Marion Center will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 71-39 league win over Purchase Line (Commodore, PA). The Wildcats record now stands at 13-7.

With the loss, River Valley falls to 8-13 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to West Shamokin (Rural Valley, PA) to confront the Wolves in a Heritage game on Thursday, January 30. The Wolves go into the game with a record of 16-3. West Shamokin won 39-31 in their recent league game against Penns Manor (Clymer, PA)
