The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Marion Center Stingers (Marion Center, PA) and the visiting West Shamokin Wolves (Rural Valley, PA), observed Marion Center's basketball team edge West Shamokin by a score of 50-45.

The Stingers (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against United (Armagh, PA). The Lions come into the Heritage challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, United edged Northern Cambria (Northern Cambria, PA), 62-41, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Wolves encounter the Purchase Line Red Dragons (Commodore, PA) in a Heritage challenge, on Tuesday, December 17. West Shamokin will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record.
