The Marion Center Stingers (Marion Center, PA) basketball crushed the visiting Purchase Line Red Dragons (Commodore, PA), 67-40 in Thursday's league bout.

The Stingers now possess a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Redbank Valley for a non-league bout on Friday, December 27. Marion Center will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 89-81 non-league loss to Karns City (Karns City, PA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Purchase Line falls to 1-7 on the campaign. The Red dragons host Harmony Area (Westover, PA) to play the Owls in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 26. The Owls go into the bout with a record of 1-5. Harmony Area lost 57-34 in their recent non-league bout against Penns Manor (Clymer, PA)
