Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Purchase Line trounced by Homer-Center

January 2, 2025: Commodore, PA 15729

Homer-Center Wildcats (Homer City, PA) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Purchase Line Red Dragons (Commodore, PA), 61-36 in a league match.

With the victory, Homer-Center advances its record to 7-4 on the year. The Wildcats host Marion Center (Marion Center, PA) to meet the Stingers in a Heritage match on Monday, January 6. The Stingers enter the match with a record of 3-7. Marion Center lost 59-53 in their recent league match against River Valley (Blairsville, PA)

The Red Dragons now own a 2-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Conemaugh Valley for a Heritage match on Friday, January 3. Purchase Line will meet a Blue Jays squad coming off a 76-65 league loss to United (Armagh, PA). The Blue Jays record now stands at 5-5.
