The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Conemaugh Valley Blue Jays (Johnstown, PA) and the host Homer-Center Wildcats (Homer City, PA), observed Conemaugh Valley's basketball team overwhelm Homer-Center by a margin of 60-34.

The Blue Jays (8-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Portage (Portage, PA). The Mustangs come into the Heritage challenge with a 9-3 record. In their last challenge, Portage trounced River Valley (Blairsville, PA), 73-61, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Penns Manor Comets (Clymer, PA) in a Heritage challenge, on Thursday, January 16. Homer-Center will attempt to better on its 9-6 season record. The Comets come into the challenge with a 7-8 record after their 78-28 league loss to Conemaugh Township (Davidsville, PA).
