The Franklin Academy Patriots (Wake Forest, NC) basketball crushed the host Falls Lake Firebirds (Creedmoor, NC), 69-28 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Patriots now possess a 15-6 record. They play next when they travel to NCSSM: Durham for a 1A/2A Super Six bout on Monday, February 3. Franklin Academy will play a Unicorns team coming off a 62-35 league win over Raleigh Charter (Raleigh, NC). The Unicorns record now stands at 10-7.

With the loss, Falls Lake falls to 4-12 on the campaign. The Firebirds travel to Research Triangle (Research Triangle Park, NC) to play the Raptors in a 1A/2A Super Six bout on Thursday, January 30.
