In Tuesday's non-league test, the Holdrege Dusters (Holdrege, NE) basketball squad trounced the visiting Minden Whippets (Minden, NE), by a score of 78-57.

Next, the Dusters encounter the Cozad Haymakers (Cozad, NE) in a non-league test, on Friday, January 31. Holdrege will attempt to improve on its 15-2 season record. The Haymakers come into the test with a 15-2 record after their 52-40 non-league win over Valentine (Valentine, NE).

The Whippets (7-9) will now prepare for their test against Broken Bow (Broken Bow, NE). The Indians come into the non-league test with a 5-11 record. In their last test, Broken Bow was routed by Ogallala (Ogallala, NE), 78-51, in a non-league test.
