In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Minden Whippets basketball team scored a good 60-47 triumph over the Lexington Minutemen.

The Whippets (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Broken Bow (Broken Bow, NE). The Indians go into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Broken Bow was topped by Holdrege (Holdrege, NE), 70-50, in a non-league contest.
