The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Grand Island Central Catholic Crusaders (Grand Island, NE) and the visiting Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, NE), observed Grand Island Central Catholic's basketball team overwhelm Lexington by a margin of 76-50.

The Crusaders (17-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Hershey (Hershey, NE). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 2-16 record. In their last challenge, Hershey was trounced by Maywood/Hayes Center (Maywood, NE), 78-54, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Minutemen battle the Aurora Huskies (Aurora, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 8. Lexington will attempt to better on its 2-17 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 16-2 record after their 57-48 non-league win over Crete (Crete, NE).
