January 28, 2025: Louisville, MS 39339 The Louisville Wildcats basketball squad (Louisville, MS), was crushed 71-33 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Leake Central Gators (Carthage, MS)
With the victory, Leake Central advances its record to 19-6 on the year. The Gators travel to Choctaw Central (Philadelphia, MS) to meet the Warriors in a 4A Region 4 battle on Friday, January 31. The Warriors enter the battle with a record of 13-11. Choctaw Central lost 72-66 in their recent league battle against West Lauderdale (Collinsville, MS)
The Wildcats now own a 4-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Caledonia for a 4A Region 3 battle on Thursday, January 30. Louisville will meet a Cavaliers squad coming off a 73-49 league loss to Kosciusko (Kosciusko, MS). The Cavaliers record now stands at 16-7.
