The Minersville Battlin' Miners (Minersville, PA) basketball crushed the host Panther Valley Panthers (Lansford, PA), 79-58 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Battlin' Miners now possess a 15-3 record. They play next when they host North Schuylkill for a Schuylkill County 1 bout on Friday, January 31. Minersville will play a Spartans team coming off a 65-29 league loss to Pottsville (Pottsville, PA). The Spartans record now stands at 3-14.

With the loss, Panther Valley falls to 11-8 on the campaign. The Panthers host Lehigh Valley Academy (Bethlehem, PA) to play the Jaguars in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 29.
