The Minersville Battlin' Miners (Minersville, PA) basketball crushed the visiting Tamaqua Blue Raiders (Tamaqua, PA), 62-28 in Thursday's league bout.

The Battlin' Miners now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Blue Mountain for a Schuylkill County 1 bout on Monday, December 9. Minersville will play a Eagles team coming off a 47-39 league loss to Pottsville (Pottsville, PA). The Eagles record now stands at 0-1.
