Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Tamaqua fells Pine Grove
January 24, 2025: Tamaqua, PA 18252 The Tamaqua Blue Raiders basketball team scored 69 points and limited the visiting Pine Grove Cardinals to 56 in the Blue Raiders league triumph on Friday.
The Blue Raiders now have a 6-13 record. They play next when they travel to Mahanoy Area for a Schuylkill County 1 game on Tuesday, January 28. Tamaqua will confront a Golden Bears team coming off a 55-38 non-league win over Pen Argyl (Pen Argyl, PA). The Golden Bears record now stands at 18-1.
With the loss, Pine Grove falls to 5-9 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Pottsville (Pottsville, PA) to confront the Crimson Tide in a Schuylkill County 1 game on Tuesday, January 28. The Crimson Tide go into the game with a record of 14-5. Pottsville won 57-45 in their recent non-league game against Williamsport (Williamsport, PA)
