In Tuesday's league contest, the host Westhope/Newburg Sioux basketball team scored a big 85-49 triumph over the Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood Mavericks.

The Sioux (11-2) will now prepare for their contest against North Prairie co-op [Rolla/Rolette] (Rolla, ND). The Cougars go into the non-league contest with a 2-9 record. In their last contest, North Prairie co-op [Rolla/Rolette] smashed Drayton/Valley-Edinburg (Drayton, ND), 69-42, in a league contest.
