In Tuesday's league test, the North Davidson Black Knights (Lexington, NC) basketball squad trounced the visiting Montgomery Central Timberwolves (Troy, NC), by a score of 80-50.

Coming up next, the Black Knights confront the Oak Grove Grizzlies (Winston-Salem, NC) in a 3A Mid-Piedmont game, on Friday, January 31. North Davidson will attempt to better on its 9-9 season record. The Grizzlies go into the game with a 11-5 record after their 72-70 league loss to Ledford (Thomasville, NC).

With the loss, Montgomery Central falls to 0-16 on the campaign. The Timberwolves host Ledford (Thomasville, NC) to confront the Panthers in a 3A Mid-Piedmont game on Friday, January 31. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 15-2. Ledford won 72-70 in their recent league game against Oak Grove (Winston-Salem, NC)
