The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Tri-City Tornadoes (Buffalo, IL) and the visiting Mt. Olive Wildcats (Mt. Olive, IL), observed Tri-City's basketball team knock off Mt. Olive by a score of 58-49.

The Tornadoes (10-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Hartsburg-Emden (Hartsburg, IL). The Stags come into the non-league challenge with a 2-17 record. In their last challenge, Hartsburg-Emden was knocked off by West Prairie (Sciota, IL), 71-61, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Wildcats encounter the First Baptist Academy (O'Fallon, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. Mt. Olive will attempt to improve on its 4-16 season record. The come into the challenge with a 10-10 record after their 66-56 non-league loss to SIUE East St. Louis Charter (East St. Louis, IL).
