Illinois High School Basketball - Tri-City holds off Pawnee
December 27, 2024: Pawnee, IL 62558 In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Tri-City Tornadoes basketball team scored a close 44-41 triumph over the Pawnee Indians.
The Tornadoes (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Carrollton (Carrollton, IL). The Hawks go into the non-league contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, Carrollton nipped New Berlin (New Berlin, IL), 41-34, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Indians confront the Carlinville Cavaliers (Carlinville, IL) in a non-league contest, on Monday, January 6. Pawnee will attempt to better on its 2-9 season record. The Cavaliers go into the contest with a 5-7 record after their 64-48 non-league win over Litchfield (Litchfield, IL).
