In Tuesday's non-league test, the North Putnam Cougars (Roachdale, IN) basketball squad got by the visiting Traders Point Christian Knights (Whitestown, IN), by a score of 55-50.

Next, the Cougars encounter the Owen Valley Patriots (Spencer, IN) in a Western Indiana test, on Friday, January 31. North Putnam will attempt to improve on its 2-13 season record. The Patriots come into the test with a 3-14 record after their 57-43 non-league loss to Linton-Stockton (Linton, IN).

The Knights (5-10) will now prepare for their test against International (Indianapolis, IN). The Gryphons come into the non-league test with a 3-6 record. In their last test, International was nipped by Mooresville Christian (Mooresville, IN), 65-43, in a non-league test.
