The North Putnam Cougars were victorious over the visiting Fountain Central Mustangs basketball squad by a final score of 42-28 in Saturday's non-league outing.

Next, the Cougars clash with the Greencastle Tiger Cubs (Greencastle, IN) in a Western Indiana outing, on Friday, January 17. North Putnam will attempt to upgrade on its 1-10 season record. The Tiger Cubs enter the outing with a 6-5 record after their 72-55 league loss to Northview (Brazil, IN).

The Mustangs (3-6) will now prepare for their outing against South Vermillion (Clinton, IN). The Wildcats enter the Wabash River outing with a 5-6 record.
