Indiana High School Basketball - Southmont bests Fountain Central

February 22, 2025: Veedersburg, IN 47987

The Southmont Mounties basketball team scored 51 points and limited the host Fountain Central Mustangs to 40 in the Mounties non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Mounties now possess a 15-6 record. They play next when they host Cascade for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 25. Southmont will play a Cadets team coming off a 57-53 non-league win over Western Boone (Thorntown, IN). The Cadets record now stands at 13-8.

With the loss, Fountain Central falls to 5-16 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Western Boone (Thorntown, IN) to play the Stars in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 25. The Stars go into the game with a record of 7-14. Western Boone lost 57-53 in their recent non-league game against Cascade (Clayton, IN)
