The Southmont Mounties bounced the visiting North Montgomery Chargin' Chargers basketball squad by a final score of 71-38 in Friday's league outing.

Next, the Mounties clash with the Cloverdale Clovers (Cloverdale, IN) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, December 7. Southmont will attempt to upgrade on its 3-0 season record. The Clovers come into the outing with a 1-1 record after their 71-42 league loss to Edgewood (Ellettsville, IN).

The Chargin' Chargers (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against Speedway (Speedway, IN). The Sparkplugs come into the non-league outing with a 0-2 record. In their last outing, Speedway was overwhelmed by Western Boone (Thorntown, IN), 60-42, in a non-league outing.
