The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Southmont Mounties (Crawfordsville, IN) and the visiting Western Boone Stars (Thorntown, IN), observed Southmont's basketball team knock off Western Boone by a score of 84-66.

The Mounties (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Seeger (West Lebanon, IN). The Patriots come into the non-league challenge with a 5-5 record. In their last challenge, Seeger dropped by South Vermillion (Clinton, IN), 74-72, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Stars encounter the Frankfort Hot Dogs (Frankfort, IN) in a Sagamore challenge, on Friday, January 17. Western Boone will attempt to improve on its 2-9 season record.
