Indiana High School Basketball - Southmont nips Danville

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Southmont Mounties (Crawfordsville, IN) and the host Danville Warriors (Danville, IN), observed Southmont's basketball team edge Danville by a margin of 72-66.

The Mounties (5-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Greencastle (Greencastle, IN). The Tiger Cubs come into the non-league challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Greencastle edged South Putnam (Greencastle, IN), 56-50, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Warriors battle the Harrison Raiders (West Lafayette, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 14. Danville will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 66-58 non-league win over McCutcheon (Lafayette, IN).
