In Friday's non-league test, the Covington Trojans (Covington, IN) basketball squad got by the host Southmont Mounties (Crawfordsville, IN), by a final score of 59-58.

Next, the Trojans clash with the Lebanon Tigers (Lebanon, IN) in a non-league test, on Saturday, January 25. Covington will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record. The Tigers come into the test with a 9-4 record after their 75-57 league loss to Tri-West Hendricks (Lizton, IN).

The Mounties (9-3) will now prepare for their test against Crawfordsville (Crawfordsville, IN). The Athenians come into the Sagamore test with a 4-7 record. In their last test, Crawfordsville held off North Montgomery (Crawfordsville, IN), 42-33, in a non-league test.
