The Southmont Mounties basketball squad (Crawfordsville, IN), was crushed 85-58 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Parke Heritage Wolves (Rockville, IN)

With the victory, Parke Heritage advances its record to 16-4 on the year. The Wolves host Fountain Central (Veedersburg, IN) to meet the Mustangs in a Wabash River battle on Friday, February 14. The Mustangs enter the battle with a record of 4-13.

The Mounties now own a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Vermillion for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 11. Southmont will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 64-60 league win over North Vermillion (Cayuga, IN). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-9.
