Indiana High School Basketball - South Vermillion bests Covington

The South Vermillion Wildcats basketball team scored 68 points and limited the visiting Covington Trojans to 58 in the Wildcats league triumph on Saturday.

The Wildcats now possess a 11-10 record. They play next when they host Sullivan for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 25. South Vermillion will play a Golden Arrows team coming off a 65-59 league loss to Indian Creek (Trafalgar, IN). The Golden Arrows record now stands at 14-7.

With the loss, Covington falls to 10-13 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Crawfordsville (Crawfordsville, IN) to play the Athenians in a non-league game on Friday, February 28. The Athenians go into the game with a record of 6-15. Crawfordsville lost 66-48 in their recent league game against Danville (Danville, IN)
