In Friday's league test, the South Vermillion Wildcats (Clinton, IN) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Fountain Central Mustangs (Veedersburg, IN), by a score of 50-42.

Next, the Wildcats clash with the Greencastle Tiger Cubs (Greencastle, IN) in a non-league test, on Friday, January 24. South Vermillion will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record. The Tiger Cubs come into the test with a 8-5 record after their 58-46 league win over Edgewood (Ellettsville, IN).

The Mustangs (3-7) will now prepare for their test against Seeger (West Lebanon, IN). The Patriots come into the Wabash River test with a 5-6 record. In their last test, Seeger went down by Southmont (Crawfordsville, IN), 58-57, in a non-league test.
